The North Shores of Oahu are located on the northern part of the island. Oahu is a part of the Hawaiian islands. The North Shores are known for luxary villas, amazing surfing, and being a little secluded from the frequent tourist areas.
To get to the North Shores it is about 28 minutes from the Honolulu airport. So once you arrive in Honolulu, the capital of Oahu, you pack up your luggage and get going. Since the North Shores is a little more secluded, you may have to drive into Honolulu to get some groceries, but most can be found at the local farmers market!
The best time to visit Oahu is from mid-April to early June or between September and mid-December. During these shoulder seasons, attractions are less crowded, festivals are plentiful and airfare and room rates are at their lowest. The average temperature in Oahu is the mid to low 80's, which means it is perfect weather all year round!
